ReAct
ReAct is an annual competition that has students solve for a brief, including developing insights, creative, top-line media allocation and partnerships. Teams of 6 to 8 students are assigned roles according to various disciplines within advertising (account director, creative director, media director, strategy director, visual production director).
After the initial briefing, then competition is extended over a three-week period with access to guiding materials, resources and mentorship conducted by volunteer industry professionals On the day of the final competition, each team presents for 10 minutes to a panel of professionals and is graded on a rubric shared in advance (strategy, teamwork, storytelling, creative, research, media and/or overall presentation).

Career Day
The 4A’s Foundation Career Day is a full day event geared towards providing industry access, professional networking, and learning & development opportunities to high school students. It is typically hosted by a sponsoring partner agency, providing students the opportunity to be immersed in a professional agency environment. Additionally, panelists and workshop facilitators engage students in topics ranging from multicultural marketing, talent diversity, strategy/account management, new industry trends and much more.
Agency Immersion
Students benefit from year round site visits to different agencies. Through these experiences, students are exposed to different types of agencies as well as processes of work, while also learning from small scale workshops and continued mentorship.
Internships
The 4A’s foundation works to host as well as facilitate placement for nearly 200 NYC public school students every year. As part of our commitment to the cultivation of a diverse talent pipeline, we stand by the need for more work-based learning experiences for our ambitious next generation. Internships are usually organized as winter and summer intensives, where high school students work near full time hours, as well as year round internships coupled with curriculum based learning.
