Black History Month is often short-lived as it is only celebrated in the shortest month of the year. It’s often retrospective and generally leans more toward acknowledgment of the contributions of Black people rather than encouraging action. To address this, The 4A’s Foundation has created an initiative entitled, 365BLACKPRINT.
We at the 4A’s Foundation believe we play a pivotal role in advancing social justice and to assist us along that journey, we are excited to announce a new initiative, 365BLACKPRINT: Black History Reimagined; an initiative focused on celebrating Black talent in the industry all 365 days of the year. Throughout 2022, we will honor Black industry trailblazers and up-and-coming disruptors. We will also help to define the future for incoming Black professionals and create a pathway for success for Black talent.

Target Audience
As celebrations around Black History have often targeted the Black community, it is our goal to center our collective information sharing with the broader industry.
365BLACKPRINT Initiative Timeline
Mirrored after a traditional blueprint, The 365BLACKPRINT is designed to drive specific action through quarterly themes throughout the year. We’ve looked at Black History through the lens of Honoring the Past, Holding the Torch, Defining the Future and Lifting as we Climb. Over the course of this year, we’ll focus on four quarterly themes below to move toward an equitable future for Black people in the advertising industry.
