The 4A’s Foundation’s initiative focuses on celebrating Black talent in the industry all 365 days of the year. Throughout the year, we honor Black industry trailblazers and up-and-coming disruptors in addition to helping define the future for incoming Black professionals to ultimately create a pathway for success for Black talent.
The 365BLACKPRINT scholarship is a foundational effort to close the achievement gap Black students face in the US. This scholarship is the brainchild of two industry professionals; Jacquelyn Green, Director, DEI Programs at the 4A’s Foundation and Isiah Thompson, Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Dentsu Creative. Both have lived and understand the experience of making ends meet to prepare for a better future ahead. Having both graduated from college within the past 10 years, they have their finger on the pulse of student needs to create an easier pathway into the workforce. Eligible students will receive funds to assist with financial needs during their senior year of college. Funds are designed to be used for final courses, books, educational resources and real world costs associated with launching post grad transitions. The intention of the 365BLACKPRINT scholarship is to help students cross the educational finish line with ease and begin to lay the foundation for their futures. |
