Franke Rodriguez
Partner/CEO (NYC and Toronto) Anomaly Franke Rodriguez is a Partner at Anomaly -- a global strategic and creative marketing agency. His current role is as the CEO of their New York and Toronto offices. Franke joined Anomaly nearly 15 years ago and has thrived in an environment that rewards talent, entrepreneurial hustle and a desire to expand capabilities and horizons.
He started in the New York office as a junior account person with the ability to span the traditional world and the digital world, guided by a keen commercial mind (he holds an Economics degree from Columbia University). In 2012 he became the youngest ever Partner & CEO in Anomaly, charged with relocating to Canada to open the Toronto office, which soon grew from six people and one client, to over 100+ Anomalies bursting with energy, innovation and ideas. That level of success saw his responsibilities expand in 2017 to now also lead the New York office as CEO, focused on ensuring that as the agency gets bigger, it continues to get better. In 2017, Anomaly New York was named the Agency of the Year in the U.S. by AdAge and in 2019 it was named the Multicultural Agency of the Year by MAIP. This year Anomaly Toronto has been shortlisted as Agency of the Year in Canada (an honor they've achieved 6 times in their 10 year history). Having started an Anomaly office from scratch, run another one with 300+ people, spent several years leading Intellectual Property Development and managing major blue-chip brands like Nike, Budweiser, Captain Morgan, Carnival Cruises, NBA 2K and Google on their marketing missions, it’s fair to say he is ‘an Anomaly’ through and through. Outside of his professional career, Franke is actively involved in the community – he sits on the Board of Directors for “Children of the City” a not-for-profit that provides academic tutoring and educational services for at-risk youth across NYC and he also serves on the Board of Directors for C3 NYC a thriving, progressive church community. When he’s not discipling future leaders or tackling knotty business problems for his clients, Franke spends most of his time with his beautiful wife Jenny and their three incredible, young children. |
