The Mindful Manager
Being a manager is tough work. Being a great manager is intentional work. It is a craft to be able to delegate work in a way that stretches, motivates, and develops people. It is an artform to be an active listener and hear the non-verbal messages that others offer you as loud as their words. It takes finesse to be able to lower your presence in a room to create space for others to shine. And generosity to use your voice to amplify those around you vs. drowning them out. Whether you have been managing others for three months or three years, join us as we explore some of the core competencies that can help you elevate, develop, and stretch those around you while also achieving the performance goals and results expected of you and your team.

Reimagining Mental Health for Us, by Us
Storytelling is a powerful tool for rewriting harmful or inaccurate narratives about mental health. This is especially necessary for people of color, who are often left out of mainstream mental-health conversations and media. In this design-thinking workshop, we’ll break into small groups to brainstorm imaginative campaigns, highlighting our untold stories to destigmatize mental health for POC. This won’t be your usual sit-down-and-snooze session! You can expect lots of Post-Its, opportunities to connect with fellow attendees, and vulnerable conversation about what we need to thrive.

Creativity with Purpose
Consumers are choosing to put their money into brands that are purpose-driven. Nearly two-thirds of millennials and Gen Z have expressed a preference for brands that have a point of view and stand for something. Brands with a high sense of purpose have experienced a brand valuation increase of 175% over the past 12 years, compared to the median growth rate of 86% and a 70% growth rate for brands with a low sense of purpose, according to Kantar Consulting's new Purpose 2020 report “Inspiring Purpose-Led Growth,” made available to Marketing Dive. In times like this, with uncertainty and negativity in the news, we have an opportunity to turn things into positives in healthcare. Join us on this creative journey through empathy, action, and innovation to learn more.
