MAIP 2020 Virtual Engagement Program
The 4A’s Foundation Multicultural Advertising Intern Program Fellowship has traditionally been a 22-week program that includes a 10-week paid internship at an advertising agency, providing fellows with real-world work experience. MAIP fellows have the opportunity to intern at locations nationally.
The MAIP Virtual Engagement Program was born as the 4A’s Foundation’s response to COVID-19. Through co-created content with participating agencies and industry partners, the MAIP VEP provides diverse students the opportunity to engage, learn, and develop from industry experts, agency partners, and MAIP Coaches.

Why is the MAIP Virtual Engagement
Program important?
• Immediate & Long Game Benefits: Agencies and recruiters will have more opportunities to build relationships with these fellows, indulge in conversations, and develop a connection for immediate hiring needs and down the road.
• Now more than ever it is critical that we do not lose the diversity lens & voice that is so critical to the industry. Agencies can showcase their commitment to D&I initiatives even in a time of crisis.
• The program will continue to provide a pathway for the next generation of people of color to be connected to the industry. During a summer where there will be little to no interns in the pipeline, you will have access to 400+ trained, developed, and diverse talent that will be more prepared than any students coming out of college with no experience.
• It fosters a collaboration and builds a broader community and network across our industry
