Todd Hittle took on the dual role of Chief Operating Officer-Chief Financial Officer of the 4A’s in May 2015. In this position, he brings strong operational and strategic leadership experience, and a successful track record of reengineering business models and recruiting and managing high-performing talent. Todd is a proven leader widely known for generating growth and improving profitability through innovation and excellence.

Most recently, Todd spent six years — from 2008 to 2014 — at ABM as General Manager and CFO. While there, he managed all operations and finance, as well as Washington D.C. affairs for the association, representing the $25B business media and information industry.

He was hired to restructure and manage business during an extended CEO recruitment process, and ultimately brought the incoming CEO up to speed. He then partnered to create aggressive growth and set the course for merger plans.

After negotiating the merger, leading due diligence and financial analysis, Todd was hired by the boards of both companies to manage the merger transition and establish a strategic vision for the combined entity.

Prior to ABM, Todd worked nearly 12 years at VNU/The Nielsen Company in several roles, culminating in Vice President, General Manager and Group Publisher. In that post, he ran a $40M portfolio of assets, including Photo District News, American Artist and Watson Guptill. Additionally, he oversaw production and finance—strategy, planning, control, analysis—for a $100M business media division that housed such high-profile brands as Adweek, Brandweek, Mediaweek, Editor & Publisher and Clios.
