In honor of MAIP’s 40th Anniversary, former NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg declared August 13th, MAIP Day throughout the city. In honor of MAIP Day’s 3rd Anniversary, we want to share your MAIP experiences with the rest of the world.

On Saturday, August 13th, we want everyone to #spreadtheMAIP. Share some wisdom, your favorite memories, how MAIP has helped you, why you love MAIP, etc on social media. We hope to turn the awareness garnered from your posts for MAIP into action that directly supports the MAIP community, driving donations to the MAIP Alumni Fund.

The MAIP Alumni Fund was started in 2015 to fortify the pipeline of top diverse talent by providing MAIP Alumni with the tools and resources needed to continue their professional growth and development through all stages of their careers. The funds raised will cover Employment, Engagement, Retention, and Talent Development.and encourage others to donate to the MAIP Alumni Fund to help MAIP continue to open doors and share opportunities with future talent to come.

MAIP is a community that empowers diverse talent who will go forth and make a positive impact in their own communities. With over 2800+ MAIP alum, friends, and supporters, imagine the kind of impact we could make if we each donated $5 toward the MAIP Alumni Fund

About the MAIP Alumni Fund

The MAIP Alumni Fund will serve to fortify the pipeline of top diverse talent by providing alumni of the Multicultural Advertising Intern Program (MAIP) with the tools and resources needed to continue their professional growth and development through all stages of their careers.

Talent engagement and retention are critically important to the overall success of the advertising and media industry. By investing in diverse talent that has already been sourced, screened, and primed for the industry through MAIP, the 4A’s Foundation and member organizations would further cement the pipeline of top talent for the industry. Through donations and contributions from individuals / partner organizations and preapproved fundraising events, the funds raised would be specifically designated to cover the following categories: Employment, Engagement, Retention, and Talent Development. The 501(c)(3) branch of the 4A’s, the 4A’s Foundation*, will administer the fund. All donations will be tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
